Multimarkdown-lyx : Convert MultiMarkdown taged files directly to LyX. File -> Export -> Latex will export your lyx file to. If I export the lyx file as latex from the GUI, and then convert it to reStructuredText using the command pandoc -wrap=none -f latex -t rst -o file.rst file.tex Unfortunately this causes lyx to remove the image extension from the filename. This is the correct behavior if the output format will somehow embed the image in the document, but that is not the case for reStructuredText (or for markdown, for that matter). Thanks fran for the hint, exporting the final version of the file (by adding the nice flag to the export command) helped. I literally am stuck on this for hours, cant submit this pdf. How am I supposed to debug this and get this darned pdf converted. My Latex document is like 200 lines without many line breaks. Unfortunately, exporting from LyX to LaTeX (pdflatex) and importing again into LyX messes up the layout of (sub)figures. Im using Lyx to produce a Latex document, and when i try to convert to pdf, it complains of the error: 'theres no line to end', and description is '//'. I am trying to setup LyX to export directly to the reStructuredText format.
